Software measures traffic speed

15.52 | 17 April 2009 |

Speedchecker is a new software product that enables the user to get an instant idea of the level of speeding in their area – in terms of actual speed levels and the volume of traffic speeding.

Speedchecker can be used anywhere from a business park with a 5mph limit to a dual carriageway with a 70mph limit. It is designed to measure community safety concerns in residential areas, ‘boy racers’ on ring roads, staff abuse of low speed limits on business parks etc or on university campus.
