The THINK! team has produced two sets of new resources for use with the Lower Primary age group and out of school groups, which are now available on the THINK! Education website.

The Lower Primary resources are designed for use by teachers and parents of children aged 5-7 years. Printed materials can be ordered from the catalogue in the road safety professionals’ area of the THINK! website.

The out-of-school groups’ activity materials have been developed in conjunction with leaders of various children’s groups including Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers, Cubs and the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigades.

These resources contain ideas for road safety games and activities for the 5-11 years age group. The emphasis is on practical, enjoyable activities which require minimal preparation.

Leaders’ notes and downloadable activity sheets can be found on the site and copies of the leaders’ notes can be ordered from the catalogue in the road safety professionals’ area of the THINK! website.

For more information contact Glyn Robinson, THINK! campaign manager.
