TISPOL has launched a ‘virtual road safety advent calendar’, sharing 24 short animations in the lead up to Christmas.
The social media based campaign was launched yesterday (1 Dec) – as you might expect – with the first message (featured) challenging drivers to think of three ways to reduce their risk over the festive period.
The second video (below), published this morning (2 Dec), tells drivers to never ‘phone, text, stream or doing anything else with a mobile phone while driving’. It adds that ‘eyes and mind on the road = reduced risk’.
The videos all last around 15 seconds and are available to watch via the video sharing website, vimeo.
Each morning TISPOL is tweeting that day’s video, and is asking stakeholders and the public to help make the campaign a ‘widespread and effective pre-Christmas awareness raiser’.
TISPOL is also encouraging Twitter users to get involved with the campaign by using the hashtag #TISPOLChristmas.
Contact TISPOL via email if you’d like to see the upcoming messages in the remaining videos.
