Alan Kennedy, chair of Road Safety GB, has appeared on LocalGov TV to discuss the challenges and opportunities for local councils to address road safety in their communities.
The programme trailer says that ‘with 3000 deaths a year on the UK’s roads and each death costing around £1.8m, local government has a crucial role in preventing road accidents’.
