Living Streets Scotland has produced a festive song to encourage families to take to their
feet this winter.
‘Walk for the world this wintertime’ celebrates the benefits of being active – with the help of pupils involved WOW, the year-round walk to school challenge.
WOW rewards primary school pupils who walk to school at least once a week with a monthly collectable badge, helping to create healthy habits for life.
The lyrics include: “Walk, walk walk for the world this wintertime. It’s something we share, not your or mine. Take good care while we’ve still got time.
“And every step we take is a choice, a choice for good. Making a difference in our neighbourhood.
“Step by step we’ll put things right.”
