The Norfolk-based road safety technology firm Westcotec is now exporting its range of community speed awareness signs to the United States.
As part of an agreement with Nexus Alpha USA, Westcotec will be providing signs deemed ideal for use in gated communities and private access roads in the state of Florida.
The partnership has commenced thanks to a long-standing collaboration between Westcotec and Nexus Alpha in the UK.
Chris Spinks, Westcotec managing director, said: “To date, 2021 has unlocked a number of exciting opportunities for us, both in existing and new markets.
“Members of Nexus Alpha’s business team were immediately impressed by the quality of our signs, as well as their ease of installation and the potential for them to help keep pedestrians and other road users safe.
“This agreement has the potential to keep our manufacturing team very busy for a long time.”
Founded in 2001, Westcotec provides its local authority clients with a comprehensive range of products including speed signs and vehicle activated signs as well as air pollution monitoring and thermal detection collision avoidance systems.
Nexus Alpha USA is an established reseller of products and services across a variety of sectors, acting as a hub for international innovation in the North and South American markets.
