Young Driver Focus postponed until 2021

Due to uncertainties around the successful running of the event, organisers of Young Driver Focus have postponed the annual conference until 2021.

The 2020 edition of Young Driver Focus was originally due to be staged at the RAC Club in London on 19 May – but had been pushed back to 10 September as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

However, with uncertainty around how the day would run with possible social distancing measures being in place, the decision has been made to postpone the conference until 14 April 2021.

The theme ‘Technology Matters’ will continue, and the speaker line-up already announced will remain largely unchanged.

Tickets will still be valid for the new date – but those who are unable to attend should email Richard Borges at FirstCar.

Meanwhile, FirstCar is in the process of producing a short video, in which those due to present at the 2020 event will highlight the latest developments in the young driver road safety sector.

The video, which is expected to be available in the coming weeks, will also unveil the 2020 FirstCar Young Driver Road Safety Awards winners.
