NPCC Operation Spotlight – Fatal Four – Young Drivers
Organised by National Police Chiefs Council
This fatal four operation will be similar to the July Spotlight but with an additional focus on young
drivers. September is the peak month for KSIs overall and is also one of the top months for collisions
where a fatal four is a contributory factor. It also ties in with children returning to school, the start of
university and many people returning to work after the summer break.
