Delegates attending the 2026 National Road Safety Conference (NRSC) can now register for their preferred workshops, with the flexibility to sign up for as many sessions as they wish.
The workshops form an important part of the NRSC programme, giving delegates the opportunity to explore specific road safety issues in greater depth, share experiences with colleagues and gain practical ideas that can be applied in their own work.
The 16th National Road Safety Conference takes place at The Queens Hotel, Leeds, on 24-25 November 2026, and is sponsored by GEM Motoring Assist, Jenoptik, SmartStart, Waymo and Westcotec.
The support of the conference sponsors helps Road Safety GB to deliver its flagship annual event, which brings together around 400 road safety professionals from across the UK and further afield.
The workshops complement the conference’s Main and Fringe programmes, creating a packed programme of presentations, discussion and interactive sessions across the two days. NRSC 2026 features around 80 presentations and workshops in total.

Delegates can register for as many workshops as they want, allowing them to build a programme around the subjects and issues most relevant to their role and interests.
Places are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be restricted to around 20 participants in each workshop
The wider conference programme covers a diverse range of topics, including children and road safety education, autonomous and connected vehicles, funding and delivery of road safety services, illegal and anti-social use of e-scooters and e-bikes, young and novice drivers, speed and Safe System/Vision Zero.
The Fringe programme adds further specialist content, with sessions covering safer cycling, powered two-wheeler riders, public health and fitness to drive, impaired driving, road safety communications, data, bus passenger safety, motorised mobility devices and other topical issues.
