Alan Prosser has joined the TTC Group to oversee the introduction of the new NDORS Driver Alertness Scheme.
Alan has 30 years’ road safety experience including spells with Derbyshire and Staffordshire County Councils. He has also been awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Road Safety Officers for research into the feasibility and delivery of speed awareness diversionary courses.
Alan says: “The TTC Group has been running the new course in South Yorkshire as part of the national pilot which will be rolled out across the country next year.
“Educating motorists instead of prosecuting them is what the TTC Group is all about. Since TTC started in the early 1990s, their well-run education schemes have been praised for helping to make our roads safer. I’m very pleased to be working with their team which is at the forefront of driver re-education in the UK.”
TTC says that the one-day Driver Alertness Course is proven to make motorists more observant, think ahead, be more tolerant on the road, allow more space between vehicles and to drive at better speeds for road conditions.
