Charities team up to deliver drink-drive message

Two road safety charities have teamed up to raise awareness of the dangers of drink driving this Christmas.

SCARD (Support and Care After Road Death and Injury) and CADD (Campaign Against Drinking and Driving) hope that a YouTube video and a series print advertisements that they have co-produced will help to cut the number of people willing to drink and drive over the festive season.

The Christmas themed print ads depict a number of different crash scenarios all of which carry the tagline: ‘Christmas is just around the corner: Don’t drink and drive’.

The ghostly YouTube video, ‘You’ll Never Forgot Me’, was created by a small film making company called Pete Middleton Pictures. It features a young girl addressing her killer, describing the guilt he cannot lose.
