A new directory of organisations that provide road safety services and/or products is an important element of a new-look version of the Road Safety GB website which will go live on 1 April.
The new directory, which will replace the ‘commercial links’ section on the current site, is divided into a number of categories including consultants, creative services, research and evaluation, clothing and hi-vis.
Nick Rawlings, editor of the newsfeed on the Road Safety GB website, said: “On average, each month the current website receives more than 14,000 visits from around 8,000 road safety professionals, so it is a powerful communications tool.
“We’ve kept the cost of entry to the directory as modest as possible to encourage maximum participation. Prices start at £100 for a simple listing, to £250 for a listing with logo or an image, and £500 to guarantee top position in a given category. All fees are for a 12-month period and exclude VAT.
“We believe that the directory will quickly become an invaluable resource for road safety professionals seeking to secure the services of organisations with special expertise in road safety.”
All organisations listed in the current commercial links section will automatically be transferred to the new directory.
