FirstCar offers subsidised and branded magazines

In the lead up to its bi-annual print run, the publisher FirstCar has unveiled details of two offers to road safety teams.

FirstCar has supported the work of road safety professionals across the UK since 2004, and has become a trusted partner of more than 100 local authorities and other organisations. The FirstCar magazine portfolio includes the Young Driver’s Guide, Drive On, FirstBike and the Ultimate Guide to Cycling.

FirstCar offers the opportunity to customise its magazines, and this year for orders for in excess of £1,000 road safety teams can have a free customised cover to include logos and/or other local information. Loose or bound inserts can also be arranged.

The print-deadline is 19 August, but FirstCar is asking for orders well ahead of this date to ensure adequate time to approve artwork.

In a separate offer, FirstCar has secured funding to provide a limited stock of each title to road safety teams with a 30% discount.

5,750 of each title will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis at the reduced price of 75p for the Young Driver’s Guide and 40p for Drive On, First Bike and the Ultimate Guide to Cycling. The price includes free delivery and packaging in dispenser boxes.

FirstCar can also provide assistance in distributing magazines directly to outlets and help with storage.
