The Highways Agency is the first confirmed sponsor of the 2009 Road Safety GB annual conference in Cambridge, 12-13 November 2009.
Alan Kennedy, chair of Road Safety GB, said: “We’re delighted that the Highways Agency has agreed to sponsor our conference – they are a very natural partner for us and we share many common goals and objectives.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with them – not just on the conference, but hopefully on other projects in the future.”
The event is proving very popular with road safety professionals, with 70 delegates already confirmed at this early stage. And the tabletop exhibition that will run alongside the conference has already sold out, with 17 confirmed exhibitors.
The full delegate rate has been set at the all-inclusive price of just £235, in order to make the event affordable for road safety professionals in these financially-constrained times.
