High demand means second print run for Young Driver’s Guide

FirstCar says that due to ‘high demand’ a second print run of the 2015 edition of the Young Driver’s Guide will be available in mid-September – with a discounted rate for road safety teams who pre-order. 

The Young Driver’s Guide, which is sold in WH Smith for £4.99 but offered to road safety teams at £1 per copy, provides more than 132 pages of information and advice for new drivers.

Tom Langdown, from FirstCar, said: “Road safety teams use the Guide in a variety of ways to enhance their young driver education programmes.

“If we know the quantities on order before going to print we can negotiate better print costs and pass on the savings to road safety teams.

“As such we are offering a 15% discount for all orders placed before 12 August, after which we will revert to the standard price of £1 per copy.

“For orders taken before the magazine goes to print we can also add logos and straplines to the front cover for a small fee.”
