New campaign challenges young people to make their own viral film

A new campaign that challenges young people to make their own viral film to convey a road safety message to their peers is being offered out to road safety teams across the country.

‘In the can’ is the brainchild of Suffolk’s road safety team, who have joined forces with Stennik, the specialist road safety publicity consultancy, to develop the idea.

The competition will be open to individuals and teams of young people, and educational establishments. Competitors will be given guidance and advice to help them develop their ideas into a viral film.

Contact Jo Lazar on 01379 650112 for further information and a copy of the campaign proposal. The closing date for expressions of interest from road safety teams is Friday 12 June, and the campaign will run throughout the 2009/10 academic year.
