A social enterprise has developed a short course to increase awareness about the consequences of illegal and risky road behaviour among teenage road users.
ASDAN, a charitable social enterprise with awarding body status, provides courses to more than 6,000 UK and international schools, colleges, youth centres and training providers.
Jon Duckham, head of programmes at ASDAN, said: “We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to reward the achievement and celebrate the success of young people.
“Our latest product – RoadWise Short Course – is used as a focus for work with young people around issues of road use.
“It is not a road safety course but a whole programme of activities designed to increase awareness about the consequences of illegal and risky behaviour associated with inappropriate use of roads and vehicles.”
