Nominations are being invited for the 2023 Road Safety GB Achievement Award, which recognises individuals who have contributed significantly to UK road safety over a substantial period of time.
The award will be presented to the winner(s) on 15 November during the National Road Safety Conference at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park in Gloucestershire.
The Achievement Award was first presented in 2022. The inaugural winners were David Davies, the then executive director of PACTS and Lyn Hesse, senior road safety officer with Cambridgeshire County Council.
It will be presented alongside the Road Safety GB Corporate Award, which this year will be selected by the board of directors.
James Gibson, executive director of Road Safety GB, said: “The Achievement Award provides Road Safety GB with an annual opportunity to recognise outstanding contributions to road safety.”
Nominations for the Achievement Award must be made by a third party, and supported by two other individuals.
The deadline for nominations is Thursday 6 October 2022. Full details of how to nominate are outlined in the Awards’ nomination form.
