PACTS’ questionnaire will establish road safety landscape

13.43 | 7 January 2011 |

PACTS is encouraging road safety professionals to complete a questionnaire to help compile a report which will focus on the DfT’s strategic framework for road safety, which is due to be published in April.

This latest report, to be published in February, is a follow up to PACTS’ report ‘Tackling the Deficit’ which looked at the road safety sector as a whole and the impact of evolving conditions.

PACTS is attempting to establish the landscape seven months after a change in government, five months after the emergency budget and three months after the comprehensive spending review.

PACTS wants to give local authorities, academics and other stakeholders the opportunity to report on their current situation and gather information on the further support and resources they need to continue making improvements in road safety.
