E-scooter operators launch initiatives to enhance safety
Two of the mobility companies operating rental e-scooter schemes in the UK have launched initiatives to improve rider behaviour.

First reported by Zag, through safety courses and events, Voi and Neuron ‘aim to equip riders with the necessary knowledge and skills to ride e-scooters responsibly, whilst fostering positive relationships with local communities’.

NYRF launches young rider webinar
The National Young Rider Forum (NYRF) is partnering with the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership to host a free webinar for young riders.

Registration is now open for the Young Rider Webinar, which takes place on 27 June (6:30-8pm), on MS Teams.

The webinar is aimed at those aged between 16-24 years. It gives them a voice to ask any questions of NYRF members who cover a large area of expertise in the world of motorcycling.

Speakers include Jody Whitfield from the DVSA, who will tell riders all about gaining their driving licences and taking their CBT test.

Where are the road trips heading today?
The Project EDWARD road trips culminate today.

Car one is at the Devon and Cornwall County Show. The PE team will meet National Highways traffic officers, as well as the local fire and rescue service, police and ambulance to see how they work together to provide a vital service across the county.

According to the Project EDWARD website, car two‘s location remains TBC (we’ll do some digging), while car three concludes with a visit to Safer Roads Humber. A local event, ‘Prison Me No Way’, will take place at a primary school in Hull,
