Pupils from St Ninian’s Primary School were celebrating recently after completing their Kerbcraft road safety training. The primary two pupils received a certificate and packed lunch box to mark the achievement.
Kerbcraft is a pedestrian training scheme initiated by the Scottish Government to reduce child pedestrian casualties and help children become independent pedestrians.
Councillor John Murray said: “As pupils progress through our schools we hope we are teaching them road safety skills which will stay with them throughout their lives. Kerbcraft training is a very important part of this process.”
