RedSpeed™ International Ltd, a leading supplier of digital solutions to the traffic enforcement industry, is to sponsor the 2012 National Road Safety Conference, organised by Road Safety GB.
RedSpeed™ International joins Colas and ALCOLOCK UK as headline sponsors for the event, which will be held at The Britannia International Hotel, Canary Wharf London, 14-15 November 2012.
RedSpeed™ International specialises in the development, research, manufacture, installation and maintenance of digital enforcement cameras. The company’s fixed and mobile digital enforcement solutions have been implemented across the world – from the USA, Africa, West and Eastern Europe to Asia. RedSpeed™ International holds an ISO 9001 certificate and UK Home Office Type Approval on digital fixed and average speed enforcement equipment.
Christine Fitzgerald, Road Safety GB representative for the London region, and chair of the conference committee, said: "We are naturally delighted that RedSpeed™ International will be supporting the 2012 National Road Safety Conference.
"London is one of many cities around the world to benefit from technology developed and supplied by RedSpeed™ International, and with the conference being held in the Capital this year it is very fitting that they should be one of our headline sponsors.
"The financial contribution being made by RedSpeed™ International and our other sponsors is invaluable. It has allowed us to subsidise the cost of attending for Road Safety GB members and in the current financial climate this is enabling many road safety and active travel professionals to attend, who would not otherwise have been able to."
Robert Ryan, Managing Director of RedSpeed™ International, said: "We understand the impact of road traffic related crashes, both in human and economic terms, and work with our customers to improve road safety for motorists and pedestrians by educating and deterring those who would violate the law.
"There is much synergy between our objectives and those of Road Safety GB and its members, which is why we are delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the National Road Safety Conference and partner with Road Safety GB."
The event is proving very popular, with more than 70 delegates already registered to attend. Final attendance looks certain to top 200 for a fourth consecutive year. In addition, 12 exhibitors have already booked to attend the tabletop exhibition that runs alongside the conference.
