Road Safety GB conference gathers momentum

More than 160 people have now registered to attend the 2011 Road Safety GB National Conference, which takes place 15-16 November.

The conference is being hosted by Road Safety GB North West region and is co-sponsored by Colas, Hermes and Siemens. It is being held at The Queen Hotel in Chester, and final attendance once again looks likely to top 200.

The cost of attending is just £250 plus VAT for Road Safety GB members and £295 plus VAT for non-members. This includes all conference sessions, refreshments, accommodation and the conference dinner. The conference will be divided into four sessions: ‘Changing minds, attitudes and behaviour’, ‘Evaluation’ – how to do it yourself, ‘Question time’: the question of speed and ‘Topical topics’ – older drivers, eyesight, drug driving, coaching, NLP etc. In addition a representative from the World Health Organisation (WHO) will deliver a keynote presentation on the ‘International Decade of Action’, which launched in May 2011.
