In a move to promote the sharing of expertise and enhanced partnership working, Road Safety GB has launched a new corporate membership scheme.

Road Safety GB Corporate Membership is available to a range of other organisations who are involved in, or have a professional interest in road safety including fire and rescue and police services, and those in the private sector.

Until now, membership of Road Safety GB has only been available to local authority road safety teams.

Alan Kennedy, Road Safety GB’s business and operations manager, said: “The benefits of our new corporate membership include access to professional road safety advisers and expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including policy development and guidance on road safety processes.

“Members will also receive regular briefings and advance notice about national road safety initiatives from stakeholders including the DfT.”

Other membership benefits include:

  • Preferential rates for conferences (including the National Road Safety Conference and Young Driver Focus) and professional training (Foundation Course, Behavioural Change Course etc).
  • Up to 10 complimentary individual memberships to the Road Safety GB Academy for corporate members employees.

The annual fee for Road Safety GB Corporate Membership is £350 plus VAT.
