Staffordshire develops Y6-8 resources

Staffordshire’s road safety team is inviting comments from RSOs about a leaflet it has produced for parents of children moving to secondary school.

Roger Williams, RSO, says: “With road traffic accidents peaking for 12 year olds, we have been working on a resource for new intake parents in order to try and make it safer for this age group.

“As a team we are also looking at a Y6 transition lesson and a follow up Y7 and Y8 lesson. I would be grateful for any comments on this and the attached leaflet.”
