Theatre production highlights crash consequences

15.11 | 14 September 2011 |

A theatre production highlighting the consequences of being involved in a road traffic collision will run at theatres and arts centres across Lincolnshire.

2fast2soon, which has been commissioned by the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, aims to reduce the number of young people killed or seriously injured on Lincolnshire’s roads. The performances commence on 20 September and run until 8 November.

The show is produced and designed by a professional team, with many of the performers being emergency service personnel and real victims of road traffic collisions.

The production is phase one of a wider road safety education and driver training programme for young drivers aged between 17–24 years old, which is being delivered by the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. Phases two and three consist of workshops in schools and colleges, and driver training.
