Project EDWARD has launched a brand-new series of informal online gatherings called First Fridays, with the inaugural session taking place this week.
Designed to bring together road safety advocates, professionals and anyone with an interest in safer mobility, these one-hour sessions will run from 8am to 9am (UK time). Global audiences are warmly welcomed to join, share ideas and take part in practical conversations that help strengthen the culture of road safety worldwide.
The inaugural First Friday takes place on Friday 3 October, with Stuart Lovatt, chairman of TyreSafe, the first guest. Stuart will be sharing his insights on Tyre Safety Month and explaining why tyre safety plays such a crucial role in reducing road collisions and saving lives.
He will also provide updates on what makes a good campaign, as well as discussing the latest developments in tyre design and technology. He will also answer questions from the online audience.
Key topics for discussion will include:
- Tyre Safety Month 2025
- Innovations and trends from the tyre industry
- Economic pressures and illegal tyre rates
- Regulatory and compliance challenges
- Emerging threats
The First Friday sessions will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Please click here to join the meeting. To receive a calendar link for this event, please email josie@projectedward.org. Participants are welcome to join for the full hour or drop in as time allows.
