2011 national conference – now open for registration

The 2011 Road Safety GB National Conference is now open for delegate registration – and there’s a heavily subsidised rate for the first 50 Road Safety GB members to register.

The 2011 event is being hosted by Road Safety GB North West region and will be held at The Queen Hotel in Chester on 15-16 November.

The conference will look to build on the success of the 2010 event, which was attended by more than 200 people, including representatives from 29 exhibiting companies. In all, delegates received a remarkable 24 presentations, covering a wide variety of topics, across the two days.

In the post- event evaluation, 95% of respondents gave the event an overall rating of ‘good’ or ‘excellent’ – and no one rated it below satisfactory.

In order to make the 2011 event as affordable as possible, delegate rates for Road Safety GB members are heavily subsidised. The cost for the first 50 Road Safety GB members who register is only £125 plus VAT. The full delegate fee for non-members is £295 plus VAT. The organisers hope to be able to increase the number of subsidised places for Road Safety GB members, but this will depend on sponsorship arrangements.

An exhibition will run alongside the conference. Places at the exhibition will be allocated on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis – for the past two years it has been over-subscribed. The exhibition will be limited to around 20 stands in order to ensure delegates have a fair chance of visiting all stands.

Prices for exhibitors start at just £395 plus VAT.

There are also opportunities for organisations interested in sponsoring the event.
