Extra subsidised conference places released

An additional 25 subsidised places for the 2011 Road Safety GB National Conference have been released after the first 50 were quickly snapped up.

The 2011 event is being hosted by Road Safety GB North West region and will be held at The Queen Hotel in Chester on 15 – 16 November.

The subsidised rate for Road Safety GB members is just £125 plus VAT. This covers all conference sessions across the two days, overnight accommodation and refreshments, and the conference dinner. The full delegate fee for non-members is £295 plus VAT.

The conference committee is currently developing themes and the agenda, and identifying speakers. An outline agenda will be published in early April 2011.

More than 200 people attended he 2010 event, including representatives from 29 exhibiting companies. In all, delegates received a remarkable 24 presentations covering a wide variety of topics.

As in previous years, an exhibition will run alongside the conference. Places at the exhibition will be allocated on a strictly ‘first come, first served’ basis – for the past two years it has been over-subscribed. The exhibition will be limited to around 20 stands in order to ensure delegates have a fair chance of visiting all stands. Prices for exhibitors start at just £395 plus VAT.
