ECRB partners out in force to deliver drink drive message

Partners from the Essex Casualty Reduction Board (ECRB) are out in force to make sure the ‘don’t drink and drive’ message hits home this festive season.

Alongside an increased level of police enforcement, radio advertising will support a number of educational events across the county in which RSOs and police officers will talk to drivers about the affects and consequences of drinking and driving.

During the festive period last year Essex Police carried out 5,746 roadside checks, with 209 people testing positive.
